The Dems want to "overturn the 2016 election results"

This, exactly.

And OP - do you have any links to people actually saying what you allege? Because you pretty much just threw that out there with no facts whatsoever. Maybe it’s YOU who is unable to accept his electoral victory, and so you have to keep harping on it. Seems pretty obvious.

Now, the majority of Americans think Trump should be removed from office. I doubt Republicans think there will be some enormous groundswell of voters who are outraged about the 2016 election being reversed. It’s just something to say when the facts are not on your side to mount a defense.

(Credible) link to the bolded, please?

Trump got caught soliciting foreign interference in the 2020 presidential election.

You're welcome.

From what I could see, he was asking for help in investigating corruption by members of the prior administration. Joe Biden was an elected official. Exposing his corruption is not an impeachable offense, sorry.

The President does not decide who gets investigated, not in the U.S., and even less so in another country. The worst abuses of power that any President can do is to use the power and authority of the State Department, the Department of Defense, and Department of Justice for his own personal or political interests. Trump corrupted all three agencies whose nonpartisan independence is essential to maintaining any confidence that those powerful agencies are using their power appropriately and honorably.

If there were something to investigate about the Bidens, Trump's phone call demand for an investigation and his using military assistance to demand an investigation from Ukraine, would nullify any investigation that resulted as a political attack rather than a legitimate investigation.

Trump needs to be removed from office especially because he will never stop demanding that the most powerful agencies of the U.S. government are supposed to act as his personal and political agents. He will never understand that he is not entitled to use the government as his very own police state.

Ah, but it was perfectly OK for Vice President Biden to withhold a billion dollars in loan guarantees to Ukraine unless they fired a prosecutor. He proudly bragged about it at a conference in 2018! Now look back at your line about using the power of the state for personal or political gain, and please explain why this shouldn’t apply to Biden.

Right, just like Trump proudly bragged about withholding aid to Ukraine unless they investigate the Bidens. Oh, wait, he actually didn't, until someone blew the whistle. Why was he trying to keep it a secret? And then he obstructed Congress's investigation.

This has been refuted at least a hundred times on here. But here it is one more time. Shokin was corrupt and was using his office for his own personal and political gain. The U.S., the EU, the IMF all were saying that they would halt aid to Ukraine if they did not take action against corruption. Biden was there in December and delivered his supposed "ultimatum," but Shokin was not removed at that time. Then Christine Lagarde of IMF called for Shokin's removal in February. Finally in April, the Ukrainian parliament voted by a large margin to remove Shokin. Biden was not demanding that Ukraine undertake a corrupt political investigation. He was demanding, in accordance with bipartisan U.S. policy, that Ukraine stop making corrupt political investigations and start using its resources to fight fraud and corruption rather than adding to it. There is nothing inappropriate in what Biden did. It was U.S. policy, not personal or political interference. But I know that you are incapable of understanding the difference between promoting corruption, which Trump did, and opposing corruption, which is what Biden did.

He didn't withhold aide in order to extract a promise that they investigate a person who just happened to be named Donald Trump Jr. whose father just so happened to be planning a run for the Presidency at the same time.

Of course, if he did do something like that, it should be investigated, but nobody accused him of that. They aren't even accusing him of it now. You just want to find something superficially similar as a distraction. It's like when a bank robber gets caught and says, "Hey, I was just making a withdrawal like everyone else."

As someone who sounds concerned about corruption, does it not concern you that the son of VP Biden was paid millions of dollars by a Ukrainian gas company while his father was the administration’s point man on Ukraine?

As someone who is concerned about corruption, I am more concerned that the completely unqualified daughter of President Trump represents the United States in no official capacity at global events.

The Biden thing has been investigated. There is no there there.

Definition of overturn: an act of turning over or upsetting something; a revolution, subversion, or reversal.

In this case, it is "upsetting something" or "a revolution."
And, you have been showing your cards since before Trump was inaugurated.

And, what we know is that you won't stop with Trump. The Democrats are doing more to interfere in the 2020 race than any foreign government.

Please. Even if Trump were convicted and removed from office, Clinton would not become POTUS. That is what an overturn of the 2016 election would be. Instead if Trump were removed from office, VPOTUS Pence, a Republican who was voted into office along with Trump, would become POTUS and the Republican party would still have the Commander-in-Chief.

It's a sound bite attack to claim that the Democrats are trying to overturn the 2016 election. It has no basis in fact and isn't true.
