To "overturn the 2016 election," we would need to remove Trump and Pence from office and install Clinton and Kaine. Under no circumstances would that happen. But facts no longer matter.

So, you would have been OK in 2011 if a new Republican Congress decided to impeach and remove Obama (on some pretext like the Operation Fast & Furious thing, or IRS targeting of conservative groups, etc.) and put Biden in his place instead? I mean, you voted for him to be VP, impeachment is in the constitution, you should be happy! It's not like the Republicans cancelled your vote - your VP is now president!

Yes, it is just "some pretext". This Ukraine nonsense is just Plan B after Plan A (Mueller report) fell apart. Investigating corruption by the prior Vice President and his son is hardly an impeachable offense. And what is this about whispers about favors being granted to Turkey and China? Is that Plan C?
