Trump's team says the Democrats want to overturn the 2016 election pretty much every other sentence. And I have accepted his electoral victory -- much more readily than he has accepted his popular vote loss. I'm not the one harping on the 2016 election. He is.[/quote] Please. Even if Trump were convicted and removed from office, Clinton would not become POTUS. That is what an overturn of the 2016 election would be. Instead if Trump were removed from office, VPOTUS Pence, a Republican who was voted into office along with Trump, would become POTUS and the Republican party would still have the Commander-in-Chief. It's a sound bite attack to claim that the Democrats are trying to overturn the 2016 election. It has no basis in fact and isn't true.[/quote]
