Do you even hear yourself? Do you hear how much you sound like the Taliban? Or fundamentalist Christians? No thanks. I'll keep my 'amoral' vote for Trump. |
Most of that is not from small, individual donors. |
Yep, go with the actual 'sweet home talibama' vote rather than the group that your perceive as taliban. |
Does it matter? Versus something like $9 million for the Democrats. That should tell the Democrats that their rhetoric is not working. |
A billionaire? Don't I wish. Not in a million years. My HHI is under $140K and we live in Silver Spring, MD. My kids go to a high FARMS/high ESOL school. So, I see on a daily basis how illegal immigration affects my life and I'm voting based on that. |
I don't disagree with the existence of the liberal bubble, but you have to be a giant dummy not to see that the current perception of the Democratic party as being "too far left" is being driven by GOP propaganda, and not the actual messaging. If you are getting your news from Fox and believe that all the Democratic candidates are for immediate abolition of the border and don't care about the coming brown menace ... well then, I don't think the problem is the liberal bubble. |
This is me. I don't like Trump, but I REALLY don't like the Sanders/AOC/Harris platform at all. Ten hour school days from Kamala Harris? No thanks. Interestingly, many of my Jewish/Israeli friends who always tended to vote Democratic are re-thinking their position in the Democratic party. Can you blame them? We older Democrats who voted for Hillary see the Rolling Stone cover with Pelosi and Omar and AOC. That lets people know, loud and clear, where the Democratic party wants to go, and who it wants to leave behind. |
OP, you pull up your big girl panties and vote like an adult in a two-party system.
There has never been a perfect candidate. It's quite often choosing between the lesser of two evils. That's the reality. You don't stay home and you don't vote 3rd party. Don't give others your power. And in 2020, the big question is do you accept the GOP and all of its lies and corruption -- or not? If you are not OK with that, you vote D. 2020 isn't about specific policies as much as its about trying to save our country from the cheaters. |
Wow, dude, we are talking about Democrats who don’t identify anymore! We watch MSNBC and read the New York Times and the Economist and listen to NPR! I’m telling this to you because some PP’s aren’t quite understanding... we’re not talking about Republicans or Fox News watchers. |
Yes, but it’s also about making sure Dems don’t go too far left. And that’s what the primary is about. |
Yawn. You’d think they’d at least come up with more creative excuses after al this time. |
That was having aftercare at schools. Pay attention. |
Yes, agree that the primary is your chance to voice that. Not the general. |
That’s why I’m glad to see more moderate candidates joining. I am supporting Klobachar. Biden I would support in a heartbeat, but he’s too old, as is sanders. |
Oh you are that poster. My kids go to a school with FARMS and english as second learners. I don't know their immigration status, and further more I have no idea how you would know anyone's immigration status. You make a lot of generalizing claims on multiple threads about how you know so many illegal immigrants and they aren't here to escape from anything but are instead here for jobs. It is tiresome and transparent. |
