I feel politically lost

Other than Bernie and Warren, are the rest of the Dem candidates too far left? To me, I would rather have a democracy than a Trump Autocracy, so will do everything in my power to work against Trump in 2020. That said, whoever the next president is going to spend significant time and effort rebuilding our institutions, particularly State, Ag, Interior, EPA where this administration has been gutting the agencies. There really won't be a lot of bandwidth to implement any far-out agenda items, particularly with a GOP senate.

Bannon said that Trump's plan was to bring down all these agencies from the inside. And he has been working toward that goal!

Agree that the Democrats have gone so far off the rails, and that I absolutely do not feel that they care about or want my vote.

I am actually going to be voting for Trump in the next election. I don’t like him as a person, but I can say that about many people I work with.

You can’t forget the part about the candidate being a trustworthy upright citizen worthy of a security clearance. Trump isn’t and that far exceeds any issue you may align with. If it doesn’t. Then you have some soul searching to do.

Another person missing the point. This is a thread about Democrats not identifying with current Dem candidates & their ideology. Many many Democrats would be in this category. This is not a thread about Democrats who like Trump. Every democrat I know hates Trump, but that doesn’t mean they like Bernie Sanders/AOC platform either.
