Is anyone committed/content in marriage after a handful of years and kids?

Togehter 21 years, married 11, two young children.

For a whole lot of reasons life has been in hard stretch recently. I even asked DH at one point if he still wanted to be married and he said that he feels like me and the kids are the things he’s sure about.

I’d be shocked if he were / has cheated.

He made out with another woman about 3 years into dating me - at a time we were pretty rocky - and told me about it immediately. To my knowledge that’s his only infraction.
