are you sure the 99 percent part is right? my kid had a 144 and was 99 percent and was 7 years two months when he took it. |
DP, but age is already taken into account when determining the SAS (Standard Age Score), like the 135 or 144. The 99th percentile range starts around 135. 144 is going to be around the 99.9th percentile, but they just report it as 99th. |
Different poster, but mine was 99th by age, 97th local at 7 years 6 months with a comp of 137, so sounds reasonable. |

Agree--so many NOT INS that I would have thought would be ins for sure. |
Wondering if the common thread for the ‘Not Ins’ is low quant scores. |
Based on last year's experience, it seems your child's GBRS is likely quite low. From what I've seen, your child is strongly likely to get in They appeal. Ive seen this happen to multiple kids last year with high/above cut off score amd turned out low GBRS. You may want to appea if u weren't already planning tol.... |
NP-its hard to quantify a "high" or "low" GBRS this year, though. |
What is "low"? I'm one of the "not in" PPs and my DC's quantitative was 136. |
In! Don’t remember the scores. But the GBRS was 3F and 1C. DRA 34. Report card had mainly 4s. Did referral No additional tests or anything special. |
