First you need to nominate someone who you believe has a chance. Who would that be? |
Assume it shows he’s not as wealthy, so? Will he suddenly not be President? Will he suddenly not be married? What’s the big moment you expect?
|
Anyone who upholds patriotic tradition and discloses their tax returns as a show of respect to the American people. |
No to all of the above. So why is he so afraid to release his taxes? |
Maybe because he just does not have to, maybe it’s that simple. There is no rule that a candidate has to disclose them, so he doesn’t want to. I swear it’s like telling a 5 year old they can’t have a cookie. "But why not?’ Because I said no. |
That's a big "maybe". Or maybe it's something much more sinister. This is a legitimate concern. |
Then why lie and say you will through the whole campaign season? |
Sure. You go with that. Perhaps next time - if we have one - you can find a candidate who can win fair and square. And who isn’t a Russian asset. |
+1 Because "I love Wikileaks" was so fair and square /s |
And how much exactly did the Russian government pay him for his speeches? Hint: Please answer. You can do it. |
Hint: They didn’t pay him for speeches. They paid him for actions - like removing sanctions, and he has been happy to oblige. And for denying that Russia had anything to do with interfering in our elections and attempting to create chaos in our country and anywhere else that they can. And for preventing any attempt to clean up our elections. And let’s not forget the millions Trump stood to make on hotels in Russia. Combine that with the extensive blackmail material that Russia undoubtedly has on Trump, and the multiple secret meetings that Trump has had with Putin and his representatives, and any sentient human being can see that there’s something wrong with this picture. Trump is a cheap date; it didn’t take much to bribe him to betray our country. |
If we had his taxes, we could get a sense, but he has been washing Russian money for decades, so billions? |
Maybe it’s this, maybe it’s that. Maybe it’s nothing like the mueller report. Just because you think there must be something there, doesn’t mean there is. He said no you can’t see them, he is allowed to say that. Throwing a tantrum doesn’t help. Can I see your returns? |

Trump's biographer, who has seen his taxes, urges investigators to go back 15 years to see some really shady stuff and find the nature of his relationship with Russia. |
He’s not allowed to say no to the House’s Ways & Means Committee though. The law is clear. |
