I love this! I am so glad 2018 house flip happened. I hope the committees find the slimes and create laws to make them crimes so that we get out of the honor system presidencies! |

Isn’t every agency run by a Trump loyalist? Now that the crazy conservative justices are being installed in the Federal courts at breakneck speed by Mitch McConnel, are there any judges left who will allow this? The IRS will refuse to comply on presidential orders or something like that. Our entire government is mired in Trumpcorruption. |
We will see - but this is good start. |
He should have disclosed them as a condition of being a candidate. The law should be changed to require this. |
Womp Womp. |
Perfect legal request with no authority to ignore. |
Three years ago from Tim O’Brien, who has seen Trump’s tax returns but is prevented by a court order from discussing them:

And here’s what Ted Cruz thinks could be in them:
|
Trump’s returns show mob activity but the IRS hasn’t done anything to date?
Why not? They just say oh, look at this mob activity on these returns? Isn’t that funny? Ho hum. |
Even if there is no mob connection, there is something that is in the returns that Trump doesn’t want people to know. As the main stakeholders of the country we deserve to see it. |
I hope every state passes a law that requires disclosure to be on the presidential ballot.
I hope, one day, the dems can pass sweeping legislation to close all of the loopholes Trump has exploited: nepotism, disclosures, emoluments, you name it. |
The law is very clear. It was passed in a bi-partisan manner. There are no loopholes. Short of invalidating a checks and balance system of government, no court will deny this request. Well, unless Squi says so. |
Rep. Neal's letter to the IRS is brilliant. He's using Trump's own excuse - "they're under audit" - against him by saying they need to see Trump's returns to make sure the law is being properly enforced. Neal is also asking for tax returns for Trump's various business entities, including his trust. Game on.
The law says the IRS SHALL provide them to Congress, so good luck with that Mnuchin. https://www.wsj.com/public/resources/documents/Neal_Letter.pdf?mod=article_inline |
Good luck, op. |
