What???!!!

True story. Good for a vaudeville.

I actually remember this poster... she posted several years ago about this situation when she was still with the husband.

I kept thinking how horrible it would be to move to another state without a support system. Only to find out you pos husband is cheating.

I found her phone number and called her!

So... did she believe you?

My brother's boss decided to cut everybody loose on a Friday afternoon in July. So, at 2pm he drives home and parks in the driveway. As soon as he pulls up, the car(his wife's) sync's with her cell phone. She's sitting in the front room having an explicit conversation with her AP. The car picked it up so my brother sits there for 10 minutes hearing all about dates and trips they'd taken together under the guise of work trips even though they didn't work together.

Apparently they'd met at the gym and it had been going on for a year.

Once the car picked up, wouldn’t it be impossible for the wife to continue the conversation on her phone inside the house?

What type of car system do they have? In my car system, if my phone syncs up with the car I can no longer hear a conversation on my cell phone I have to be in the car. So if I was the wife I would stop hearing the person i was talking to (affair partner) and that person wouldn’t hear me as the phone microphone is deactivated so the car microphone is activated. I know this for a fact as I’ve had my daughter sitting in the car when I have picked up a call while outside of my car. I can’t hear through my phone and the caller can’t hear me!

Yes, plus the speaker would pick up any noise from the car. When your phone syncs, it's pretty obvious.

I actually had my phone sync to my wife's car when she drove near me the other day. My conversation was going in both my handset and in the car through the AV system. I was talking to my father though.

My favorite was a woman who just knew her DH was cheating with his secretary, but he kept denying it. Then he went on a business trip to a resort that had a live web stream of their oceanfront beach. She saw him, in a bathing suit she had purchased, with his secretary, and they were holding hands. She phoned his cell, and she watched him pick up the phone. He claimed he was working in his room, that of course his secretary wasn’t there, and that she was crazy. She told him that she could see him, she described what they both were wearing, and told him that she was also using her video to capture the whole thing.

She said she was so ecstatic that she finally had proof that she ran into their bedroom and jumped up and down on the bed.

It could have been a text conversation. Apple Car Play will start reading out the text conversations in that lovely British voice.

Also, some of the older hands-free car systems did not have those override features on the phone itself. This is a newer safety feature that disables usage of the phone when synced up. The Ford Sync was launched in 2007 and has been around for over a decade. I don't think it would lock out the cell phone.

Anonymous wrote:Did not happen to me, but was an interesting story I heard: A friend's dog ate a pair of her panties from the hamper, and she had to take it to the vet for surgery to have them removed. Afterward the vet asked if she wanted her panties back, and she declined. The vet told her that undergarments were not an uncommon thing for dogs to eat. In one case the dog owner did ask to have the panties returned after the dog was operated on. She discovered her husband's affair when the returned item was not a pair that belonged to her.

Not true. Why would the AP's panties be in the hamper? If there were in the hamper, the AP left them there for her to discover.

How did they know that the dog had eaten a panty if it was APs panty? Too many holes in the story.

Yes - a similar version was floating around, but the dog ate a used condom.......

You guys aren't reading it right. The vet told the affair discovery story to the woman who was at the vet because of the dog/hamper.

I was walking in my own house towards room where my then husband was talking on the phone. I heard him say I love you XXX, I thought he was talking to me because my name is XXX but when I entered the room where he was I realized he was saying it into the phone to someone else.

The part about picking next woman with same name still irks me (among many other things).

You're actually just as bad as the people having the affair. Nothing about any of that was ANY of your concern in any way--you just butted in because you didn't like him. You weren't trying to help anyone out. You have a terrible character, which is obvious in the way you tell it. This was done just to satisfy you and give you a sick thrill. Disgusting.

As someone who was cheated on before and during marriage, I would have loved for someone to have had the balls to pick up the phone and tell me. I think that shows a lot more character than just smiling to my face and acting like nothing is wrong.

+1 I don't know how many folks knew my husband was a serial cheater, but the number wasn't zero. It definitely included his/her coworkers, some mutual friends, etc.

I wish someone had told me before I wasted so much time thinking I was just not a very trusting person.
