Was at the St James with my little swimmer, and noticed the Capital Coaches there training with a bunch of hs girls. As a parent of a pride little, who sometimes trains there and was considering capital for future, i was curious. So I asked one of the girls at the front desk and she said it was the regular St Stephen's girls lacrosse practice. Does this mean that Capital is officially back to being a saint Stephen's-only club?
No. There are girls from many different high schools, both private and public, from all over the DMV, down to Charlottesville, who belong.

I don't know of any class at Saint Stephens that has 45 or so girls to field two teams in a class, so it will never be a Saint Stephens only club, but if is true that the Capital Coaches were running their winter practices that would give me pause. What coaches were there?

Looked like the top two from the club. Gussie Johns and Bill Lewis.

Well, can't say that it's surprising but if I had a daughter that didn't go to St Stephen's I'd be very worried about sending them to this club.

Omg stop. Just stop. It’s the Capital players who wanted to do winter conditioning with the club. All years and first come first serve. Nothing to get excited about.

little swimmer? pride little? looked like? pfft, this site cracks me up!

And how about letting someone else decide where you can work and where you can't? Just about every club owner in the nation is a high school coach somewhere, including the one at your pride little's. Possibly contact Capital and let them know that you are so rich you are willing to supplement everyone's income so that can focus on making your little player the very best that she can be and hopefully one day take down the big mean Saint Stephens girls.

But the girl at the front desk who’s making minimum wage and is looking at her phone for Her next break said was Saint Stephens so it has to be true.

Thank God the girl at the desk didn’t tell you there were sharks in the pool.

Going back to the thread, even though its ISL and not States, did anyone happen to watch any of the Turkey Shootout this weekend to see how the local teams fared? All I see is that Langley won it.
