The club survives off players on "scholarships"/ financial aid and I'm sure it will continue to do so!

I am a current coach that will use this cowardly medium to say, the issue has never been the money, it's been the toxic environment the Executive Director creates. That's the true reason coaches are leaving and will continue to leave.

Of course they will be around. This is ridiculous. All the soon-to-be-displaced syc players can go right over to Lmvsc. This isn’t a merger. Same number of potential first team players remain in both club service areas. But hey, if anybody wants to go somewhere different, plenty of options remain.

Yeah, and really what did the old TD do for the club?

Did he really build a program that developed players to a high level? How many players left DA to come to LMVSC just for one of his coaches?
More like he benefited from a Pareto distribution and had a couple of strong players here and there, which allowed him to siphon off a few strong players from other small clubs in the immediate area.

He, and his team recruited to put together a few teams of "superstars," but has any of them really developed a superstar team?

Messi was too small—only made the white team at LMVSC. Not sure if he’ll switch to SYC.

Cristiano is totally going with Pepe—gonna get a scholarship!!

How can they hire someone with “tactical proficiency to go with all the technical creativity” when the ED is known for running coaches and technicial staff off? An ED should be known for hiring and then retaining a talented technicial staff which she has not done for many years. “Retaining” is the key word here.

Historically players develop and move on to DAs by the other way around. How many kids have moved on to play at a DA from the club since the Old TD was originally hired? That would be a good judge of development as well as how many teams are ranked in the Top 50 or Top 100. This would be a reflection on the coaching staff that the TD hired to development these teams.

The talent is there, but not everyone is interested on moving their kid to DA. I don't care to drive to Arlington or Leesburg 4 times per week during rush hour. I Don' care for my kid to practice strenuously 4 times a week to "earn" a spot on a game over the weekend.
I'm OK with my kid been part of a team that ranks in the top 5 in the state!!!! Boys 2009,2008,2006,2005,2004,2003... Google it!

Looks like Lee Chang is on his way to LMVSC. Who ever wrote on this thread that LMVSC was swapping coaches with SuckYC was extremely accurate. I wonder what the SYC families who left the club because of him will do next.

How do you know if it hasn't been announced anywhere? If it is true and you are a "friend" in the know, why would you leak something like that. Not really trustworthy.

Desperate to higher a quality coach that SYC got rid of when they seem to have been doing a good job and liked by players just to make room for the TD and his friends?
