I have disliked this jack$$ ever since he introduced legislation that overturned the referendum that limited council members to two terms. And now look where we are. He's been on the council for almost 30 years. What is his legacy?

DC Board of Elections just posted notice accepting the petition to recall Jack Evans. The 10-day window to challenge the petition starts tomorrow.

He’s has given a masterclass to people on how to buy access in the DC Government, helping colonial parking for $, giving away the public jelleff park that the city paid $25 million to fancy private school Maret where he sent his kids to school. He’s a disgrace.

The voting rolls in DC are a mess. 30% of the signatures are likely invalid. I don’t want to pay $200K to conduct an election we’re going to have in June. Let the voters decide.

It’s likely he’ll easily win re-election. His opponents lack qualifications.

You sound quite dim. And DC taxpayers have paid far more than $200k because of Jack Evans’ corruption.

I’m dim? The council spent in excess of $1B on school modernization (no doubt to their pals) and routinely provides millions in unneeded tax abatements to local businesses. Jack is a scoundrel. Hopefully this provides the incentive taxpayers need to look into the activities of the DC City council.

We should thank Jack for tearing the lid of this foul, foul nest.
