Yup! https://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/news/loose-lips/article/21074400/federal-agents-raid-jack-evans-georgetown-home |
Wow. I hope they sink him soon. It's amazing how much white collar crime is ignored but then losers like Jack Evans want to criminally prosecute people for skipping out on a $2 metro fare. |
| Dirty to the core |
| Jack is going to the clink. |
Both should be prosecuted. I don't Like giving Metro scammers a pass when they talk of fare increases and higher taxes to find Metro’s deficits. |
Public transportation should be free. It's far more efficient as a system than building roads. So make it free and make it great service. There's no way to build enough roads to get people around DC. Also, jail Jack Evans. |
| Will he have to step from from being a councilmen as well? |
| I can't believe he hasn't resigned yet. Unbelievable. |
Fukk yeah!!!!! |
But you know that's not how it works! Evans isn't gonna do any time and you know it. Look at how the DC Council is dragging their feet doing anything about this. Jack Evans got paid $50k by a parking mgmt company to screw its rival. He admitted he took over $325k in bribes. Yes, that's what consulting fees with city council employees are--bribes. Get it? Chuck Thies thinks people should be arrested and prosecuted for fare evading so fukk him too. |
| Hopefully someone else can fill his shoes and protect Georgetown from fare evading gangbangers, I mean crews, I mean thugs, I mean dcps kids |
| I always knew Jack was a crook. Lock him up. |
|
He's no longer chairing to finance committee
I bet others are also dirty |
|
Reps. Mark Meadows and Jim Jordan are super concerned about corruption all of a sudden and want WMATA to turn over records relating to the Jack Evans ethics probe.

| Wait the Republicans in Congress care about ethics?! Mind blown. Now only if they cared about Executive branch ethics too. |
