No DCU 04 players have moved to the FCB Escola. No one even made that claim. |
Not true--there have been references to at least one DCU player moving there and the age group was not mentioned. If you read the thread you can see the folks who post there have trouble with responding specifically on team and age groups. |
I only saw VDA players mentioned. Maybe you misread it. |
None of that has anything to do with this thread. It's weird that you even brought it up. |
It sounds horrible. I am truly sorry for the victims. What do you mean "no criminal charges only because it was so far away"? Do you mean because it happened too long ago? That is too bad. You know, if it is as bad as you make it sound, I really think it is irresponsible and inappropriate to just put the kids on another team. |
I would be shocked if Escola accepted players that were terminated by another club because of hazing. I am only aware of 2 players moving between Escola and DCU. One 03 player moved to Escola from DCU in 2017, which was long before these players got cut. One 2001 player moved from Escola to DCU in 2018. Perhaps there was someone else that moved from DCU, but it was probably someone in a younger age group. |
Why is it weird? It’s just an observation from the thread. |
I agree. If it was to the level of criminal activity parents should know their children will have them as new teammates—at the very least to protect themselves. |
| If it was that bad, VYSA would have put a block on their cards and they wouldn’t be able to play anywhere. |
and US Youth Soccer and the rest.... Of course, but don’t let facts like that get in the way of a good story.
|
My understanding is it only happened on overnight trips out of town. So far away as in far away, not long ago. |
OMG, just stop. You sound like an idiot. US Youth Soccer and its members (including VYSA, MYSA) have nothing to do with the DA. DA players are not carded by UYSA orgs. This is all over the DA by now. Even those of us who aren't with DCU know other parents who are, and this has been confirmed by multiple sources. Ask anyone with a kid in the DA and they'll tell you the same thing. Apparently an email went out to the whole club when they found out. This is not a secret. And these are big name players they've kicked out. All 4 are starters, 2 have had YNT callups. But no one thinks the club had any other option but to kick them out. The abuse I've heard described is horrible. Not just verbal or "ribbing". You have to be beyond clueless to think that DC would kick players out of the club for something like that. What I've heard is 4 players ganging up on 1, pinning them down, and doing the sort of things that would land an adult in prison. Anyone who needs any more detail than that is just plain sick. Seriously sick. |
Sorry, I've never been to prison. What are you referencing? If what you said is true, that's a crime and for that not to hit the wire is odd given that this is a professional club. The same crap happened this year in a high school in Loudoun and Dematha. Getting kicked out is the punishment? How about spend time in that place your referenced.....Prison. |
|
Didn’t you get the memo? This is all a big coverup. DCU and US soccer decided to keep this hush hush and release them as punishment instead of going to the authorities and warning the relevant associations. Because, well graft and corruption. And they are evil. I mean look at the Berhalter hire. He probably came to the solution personally.
Crazy Americans. Naive as crap, too. |
Oh my god, how horrible. If another Club takes this kids--the parents have a right to know. It makes me question putting my kid in DA if they are on a team in the area. |
