| How do you pack your trunk full of the items you just purchased from Costco if you have backed in? Do you try and drag the cart between cars? Is this where all the door dings come from? |
Nope! New Englander. Not sure what that has to do with anything. |
+1 Apparently, those with the least common sense, have it in their heads that they are "winning". LOL. |
Where? Sometimes people like to say that, because they think it makes them sounds more refined. Being ignorant and spiteful generally does not fly in the Boston area. |
| Don’t know why backing in bothers anyone. It’s just like having to back in when parallel parking. Just be patient for a few seconds with other drivers on the road. You’ll be a happier person. |

The fact that the op is so aggravated by waiting a few extra seconds speaks volumes.
The fact that you think your time is worth more than everyone else's says volumes about you. Tragically, most narcissists are unaware of their affliction.
Same sense of entitlement as those drivers who cannot be bothered to clear the snow/ice off their cars before driving. They can drive around me if it bothers them! They can wait for me to park!
Don't tell me, born and raised in this area? A little p*ssed off about it?
Nope! New Englander. What, exactly, is ignorant about commenting on people who hold up the flow of traffic to back into parking spaces or clearing snow and ice off their cars? |
| To answer PP: Because you are holding up the parking lot so you can back in each time. |
|
Very familiar with Newport. Whereabouts?
|
Time for bed, troll! I really doubt you have ever been. |
| You do realize that you need to go in reverse either way, right? So why don't you just pull in straight so you don't ruin other people's cars while you load your trunk. |
+1. I never park next to someone who backs in because I'm worried I'm going to get scratch on my car from grocery bags or boxes or whatever being carried in between cars. |
| Yes I do- way easier to see to get out of the spot. |
Haha! Some people say that because being from RI is embarrassing. |
| If you are parking at a nail salon, no big deal to back in because nothing is going into your trunk. But if you are parking at a grocery store and have bags of groceries then its just rude to shimmy yourself in between cars to get to your trunk to load it with no regard for the poor car parked next to you. |
I actually know a lot fo families that are still there. Wondering if you would name any of the same people I know. Whereabouts? |
