What? You don’t back out of the space in one maneuver either. It takes a couple of maneuvers either when you back in or when you leave if you didn’t back in - no difference. |
That's true! |
Of course you do! Where did you learn to drive? Or didn't you? |
The difference is that when people see me backing out of the space, they know I'm backing out of a space. When you pull way past a space, people assume you are going to continue in a forward motion NOT suddenly put it in reverse and start backing into a space -especially when there are cars behind you in the lot. |
|
That would be me. I back in 100% of the time.
OP, you aren’t supposed to park bumper-to-bumper. You leave space between your car and the car behind you. There should be room for you to get back there and load the trunk. |
Extra three seconds!?!? Most people i wait for to bsck into their space take three attempts. |
Don’t assume. That’s on you. Wait until the car in front of you finishes their parking maneuver: Driving 101. |
No, engineer. |
Except that you can not control whomever parks behind you, after you park. |
Engineer with a company car? What company is this? |
EXCept jerks like you don’t pull through far enough and leave your back end into the space behind you, effectively taking up two spaces |
That’s true. In that case—which I don’t think has ever happened to me—I would use the passenger door to load. No biggie. |
Never said I had a company car. I said "when driving a car on company business." Learn to read. |
Another engineer here but I don’t follow the logic behind your posts. Aka WTF are you talking about. Pp engineer’s question was a perfectly logical question. |
When you point a finger at me, the rest of your fingers point back at you. I back in for a legit reason: the turning radius on my minivan is weird and it's far easier to back in (more directly: I can't park it head first without multiple maneuvers, but I can quickly back it in without adjustments). The fact that the op is so aggravated by waiting a few extra seconds speaks volumes. As does your hostility, pp. Your lack of self-awareness is both befuddling and amusing. To sum up: nobody backs in to purposely aggravate you. The fact that you assign malicious intent might be something to explore with a therapist. |
