Neighbors keep parking on my grass

If it’s your land, and you own all of it, you can have them all towed. Personally, I’d put up a sign saying “no parking - tow away zone” and then I’d go to town calling the tow companies after that.

What they’re doing is outrageous. By now, they all think you’re ok with it. Nobody normal would put up with it. So definitely start with a small sign right in the border of your property.

You need something to demarcate a border. One possible option -- if it suits your aesthetic -- is a bit of decorative touch that would be less in-your-face than a no-parking sign.

Maybe even some tall flowers during the spring/summer -- sunflowers, hollyhocks? It says "this is a tended space that belongs to someone." At this time of year, is there seasonal display you could put in the corner? Something that just looks, I don't know, autumnal and decorative, with a few coordinated rocks or something trailing out from the corner to mark the space as all of one thing?

Neighbors had a party last night and at one point there were six vehicles parked on my lawn like it were special events parking. As of right now, there are two vehicles still there that must have spent the night or ubered home.

I'm sorry, but you are past the point where this is just the other people's fault. You have not called police? You needed to do that way before this last incident.

A doormat will always be taken advantage of.

So all 4 car tires were in your yard? For multiple cars? Weren’t they getting out in the mud? This is so bizarre.

Did you say anything? Charge them a parking fee?

Put up the parking poles someone else posted 1 ft apart along the road to get them to stop.

I would use the poles, close enough together that they can't park there.

In the spring start some shrubs or something there. Use orange tape to mark it off until the shrubs are established.

Your neighbors are a-holes.

PS

You can definitely put up stakes or signs. You can definitely call police and ticket.

I think a midway response that stakes your ground (so to speak), makes the point unavoidably clear, and is least likely to cause escalation is to put up something decorative that you could move easily at any time, and would cost a lot less than a fence. Also, look better than just stakes.

Something like a large planter at either end -- with or without decorative stones or mums, and a few large stones filling the gap, spaced out between. Or a hanging lantern or small hanging banner, also with something spaced out midway?

Laying railroad ties or something similar is another easy option.

Honestly OP, it's hard for any of us to actually even believe your situation, because it's so outrageous. I can't believe you would watch people park all over your property and not do a single thing about it.

Putting up a simple "NO PARKING" sign next to "Private Property" or ideally a "NO PARKING Tow Away Zone" sign is non-confrontational and cheap and you're totally within your rights to do it. I have NO IDEA why you wouldn't do that. Can you explain it to us?

We gave you options, I even provided a link of where to find it in HD. You have not bought them and I don't understand why you don't talk to people to not park on your lawn, or ask the neighbor to pass the word that they should not park on your grass.

My best friend had this problem, no sidewalks on their side of the street and they live pretty close to the elementary school in their neighborhood. Parents pull onto their lawn so the driver side tire are on the street, and the passenger tires on their lawn.
Her DH tried talking to them (he's a firefighter with a predictable schedule, parents caught on quickly and didn't do it when they knew he wasn't working.
They talked to the school and the principal sent a mass email. Didn't work.
He finally put up those 4' high thin stakes that others have mentioned, they are fluorescent orange and very visable. THAT finally made the people stop.

Well then, you're just stupid. Grow a pair and DO something. LOTS of people here have given you many options. That you choose to still do NOTHING means you obviously aren't that bothered by it and neighbors know you're a pussy

I didn't watch them do it. I saw it after the fact when I came home. In the morning, I have seen it happen when people are waiting for the bus, but I am also getting my children ready and I dont have time to stop what we're doing and bring my kids outside with me to the corner of my large lot to confront them about it. We moved in recently, school just started, my schedule was different until recently. What is so difficult for you to understand?

Do you want a few signs like that on your property? They're an eyesore, of course I dont want that. I also dont think you are understanding the size of my lot. I would have to space these signs out over 200 linear feet or so just to ensure they would be seen.

Not that PP. It's frustrating when people offer up good advice, provide many options for a solution and people don't take the advice. That's annoying but what is maddening is when they make them selves doormats and instead of taking action, keep complaining about the same issue.
