Neighbors keep parking on my grass

No, its 100% mine.

I still can’t picture this. Are they just pulling over, with the passenger wheels on the curb/grass? Or full on turning the car and lining up on your lawn like it’s special event parking? The latter, yeah, go tell them to quit it. The former, you just need to let go, since that strip probably belongs to the county.

Lol!

Leave them up, they can't drive over them, they are about 3 ft tall. If they DO run them over, or park between then, PLEASE go out and tell them not to park on your grass. Some people are just plain stupid/oblivious/rude. They need someone to be direct.

Trying to avoid this. I'm usually not home anyway, but even if I were to witness it I am generally nonconfrontational.

Home Depot also sells triangle concrete blocks that are meant for exactly this. I sort of have the same problem too with neighbors driving over my front lawn. I just laid new sod in the 1ft section they always drive over. Drives me insane. Most of the time it's not my neighbors- it's their visitors, cleaning people and lawn service that can't seem to stay on the road and keep driving over my grass.

If op is maintaining it, it's reasonable for her to keep people's cars off of it. Who parks on grass anyway? These people are off.

No. She doesn’t get to control land she doesn’t own, just because it is near her yard.

It's kind of in between. About half the vehicle parked on my lawn with the drivers side still on the road enough that if the driver gets out they will step onto the road. Anyone on the passenger's side is getting out like 3 ft into my lawn.

It is my lawn. I'm certain it is not county property. It's an eyesore to have the patch of grass leading up to the corner of my lawn destroyed. It's the first thing you see when you turn on to our court. I take meticulous care of my lawn, it's otherwise free of blemishes.

No, its 100% mine.

Where do you live? Because that is pretty much unheard of.

NP I own to the road too. If you don't have a sidewalk on your side of the street, you probably own it.

Either way, these people are animals for parking in the grass.

There's no easement. I'd rather not say where I live but it is not unheard of in this county. Are you from NOVA? I know its uncommon there, but not here.

No. We have no sidewalks but Fairfax county maintains a strip. It is not an easement. They literally own the perimeter.

Yes, most parts of Maryland don't operate this way.

No it's not. Where do you live that most people don't own their property to the street line? There are easements, but that doesn't mean it's okay for random people to drive on the lawn.

I'm having trouble finding these on Home Depot's site.

Before spreading caltrops that might injure a child and trigger a lawsuit, put orange cones around the perimeter of your property.

And consider investing in a fence.

My backyard is fenced. To match and fence it in like the back it would be about $20k. Also, my home would look like a fortress.
