Do expect your kids to obey you?

THIS is what MAGAs teach their children, not to push boundaries by trying drugs or engage in alternative, perverted sexual behavior.

Some boundaries should not be crossed, such as corrupting oneself in a transgender lifestyle.

Children who won’t obey their parents won’t obey God either, producing lawless, Godless people.

The majority of Democrats are going to hell because their parents let their children do whatever they wanted to do.

I don’t really expect them to obey. I expect them to make good decisions, be safe, be kind, work hard, be a good community member, be respectful,make healthy decisions. I don’t expect obedience.

My kid is neurodivergent. So what applies to most doesn't apply to everyone. How exactly do you "make" your kid bathe? Nagging, convincing, or persuading is one thing, but I don't think you're stripping your kid down and physically carrying him into the shower. Some things can slide and they have to learn natural consequences by their poor choices.

Such drivel. I'm not a MAGA, but children should be taught by example to love, respect, and obey their parents. We see all the misbehaving kids who are taught otherwise.

This is extreme and in the extreme stupid. Children need to experiment for sure but they also lack the basic biological capability for sound decisions making. Hence, development involves a give and take between rule following and self discovery.

Also, strangely in your view, self identified progressives have much more mental illness, anxiety and depression. All that freedom independent of developmental reality is probably what messed them up.
