Senate Democrats sending secret letter about Kavanaugh to FBI

What a freaking brilliant move on the part of the Dems. This anonymous accuser likely entirely fabricated this. They realized that in the metoo era, there's no proof needed. An accusation means it has to be true. By any means necessary, right?

Sure, we know how much you like proof, facts, innocent until proven, law and order. We know!

Yeah, tell it to Al Franken. The GOP wasn't so fond of letting due process go forward for him.

Actually, I was a conservative who believes Franken was given a raw deal. And, it wasn’t so much the GOP who called for his resignation. You can thank Gillibrand and other Dems for that. I don’t agree with Franken on pretty much anything. But, I believe he was forced to resign over a really stupid incident.

If there were something so damning, I would think that one of Kavanaugh's students at Harvard Law would have filed a complaint years ago. Or, a law clerk, Or someone he has worked with in the last 30 years.

Should be interesting to see what this is about. And, if this anonymous person fails to come forward, it will be difficult to prove or disprove anything. But, I think that was the intent.

I don't know what is being alleged. But it takes a long time for these accusations to come forward and to go anywhere. Look at Kozinski - this sh*t went on for decades, allegedly, before becoming talked about in public and leading to any consequences. It was talked about in private but not public. Powerful men are well protected.

And actually I hadn't realized that Kavanaugh was one of Kozinski's clerks, and the two were friends.

Yeah, Kavanaugh said he called the shamed former judge to check on his feelings after he was outed.

I wonder what the moral compass of Kavanaugh is like, who refuses to shake hand with gun violence victim's father and yet calls a judge (who has sexually assaulted others) to check on his feeling!

Dems have jumped the shark. They've been sitting on this, so there must be very little to it. Desperation.

Wrong.

The Roy Moore Accusers had corroburating witnesses and other evidence. Please name a credible accuser who had no accompanying information.

This. All it takes is an allegation to destroy a reputation.

This is the same guy who grew up in Bethesda and went to prep school, but claims he has a deep and personal understanding of gun and gang violence because of where he lived. Enough so that he could strike down an assault weapons ban, but say he really *got* how this affected normal Americans.

The Al Franken accusation was idiotic. He shouldn't have resigned, but his own party turned on him because it was an opportunity to virtue signal.

Yeah, I seem to recall you Trumpskies defending Roy Moore, too. You keep great company. Really show yourselves to be moral powerhouses. Guess as long as you can stop abortions you don't care about anything else.

Remember this post...

What happened even after all the proof came about?

Trump cultists, now one believes you when you wait for proof. Because, no amount of proof has convinced you to leave the cult.

And, THIS is how rumors get started.
You make me ill, pp. Rape, abortion, and hush money - all in one post. No proof. No evidence. Just your sickening little speculation to start rumors.

Yup, they can see future and had a devious plan and not morally consistent.

I honestly don't think anybody Kavanaugh's age should be held responsible for what they did in high school.
