Feedback on VLC Club Lacrosse?

That is correct. They told the parents at the first tryout last weekend that a few invites would go out after the second tryout, but that most would go out after the last tryout.

So did VLC end up not forming a 2027 and 2028 team? They announced tryouts for these grades but their twitter only mentions final rosters as young as 2026. If so, was it lack of interest? Same thing happened last year I believe.

I suspect they didn't. What they've announced so far is formation of 2019 to 2026 teams, but nothing younger than that.

Did they say when invitations for hs will go out? If my son gets an invite, does he have to accept right away, or can he wait to hear from the other clubs first?

My son says a few of his friends received offers this morning and need to accept or decline within 24 hours. So there might be a waiting list.

Did they cut a lot of kids at the high school level? The middle school teams cuts were widespread.

Untrue. We have a kid in rhe HS program and the youth. In years past, a ton of youth would get cut. This year it seems not that much and definitely a kot less.

Which year? High school emails are out and answers for the first batch are in-they gave 24 hrs for a decision. No idea if there's a wait list or not.

What I don't get is that the teams don't do super well at the tournaments. So how do so many of their kids get recruited?
