Feedback on VLC Club Lacrosse?

PVI did play a tournament this summer that meant they were all gone for 1 of the few tournaments VLC was playing in - if they don't coordinate that will cause some issues. There are several PVI players on various teams.

Virtually all of the private schools play roughly 2 tournaments or so during the summer and have done so for years.

That's not accurate. We are a VLC family and the teams always plays in 3 or 4 tournaments which is normal. Our team does have some PVI players. PVI was entered in a tournament but that tournament changed their dates at the last second, so that's why the PVI kids couldn't play with VLC in that one tournament. I think VLC coordinates with PVI very closely.

Enlighten my ignorance. How strong is the PVI lacrosse program, relative to the other Catholic / private schools in the area?

Very strong. Along with Zaga and Prep, the dominant Catholic school trinity of lax programs in the area and arguably the nation.

Very strong. Along with Zaga and Prep, the dominant Catholic school trinity of lax programs in the area and arguably the nation.

Great programs, but hold your horses on the dominant three of "arguably the nation" - catholic schools feature prominently among the top Long Island, Baltimore, and Philly/NJ programs - Chaminade, St. Anthony's, Calvert Hall, Loyola, St. Mary's, LaSalle, Delbarton, etc.

Has anyone's son yet received an invitation to join 2022? My son said the coaches said some of the players who are a lock would hear by Wed.

Several invitations went out to boys who tried out for VLC 2021 last night. Don't know about 2022.

Not sure if we are talking about the same HS team, but my son says that based on the network of his friends who've tried out, only a few invites have gone out. My son got an invite after the final tryout last year, so they must stagger them. I doubt they would send all the invites before the final tryout (I hope).
