No. Only AJ adopted Maddox when he was an infant. Later BP adopted him as well.

In the most recent custody agreement, the judge told Jolie that if she didn't shape up, she would lose physical custody of the kids. So she is as bad a parent as Pitt with the physical altercation with his child.

Pretty sure he also had a pretty bad drinking problem and was becoming a temperamental drunk, which is why he and Maddox got into it. He acknowledged the drinking problem in an interview and is supposedly currently on the wagon.

People cope with living with crazy partners in various ways. Checking out and drinking too much are pretty common.

There's no way I could live with Jolie without some form of self-medication.

He also said he was stoned all the time during his marriage to Aniston. At some point he has to take some responsibility for his actions.

This is all beside the point: they're both nuts and none of us knows as much as the judge on this case about which one is more nuts. That judge took custody from him in the first place, and is doling it out sparingly now. Hopefully they can get their acts together and coparent.

The mother of one of my friends went to college with him and said that he was really weird. For whatever that’s worth....

Plenty of alcoholics and addicts end up with joint custody or visitation schedules far more generous than what Brad has.

I live in Missouri. Southern Missouri, where Springfield is located, is most definitely part of the Bible Belt.
