I think she wants to look awful temporarily right now. She has awful stuff against him, and it’s a strategy to make her look more empowered later. The narrative would go like this: “doesn’t everyone always criticize the woman for not being perfect, and the man has to live up to a bare minimum? How unfair! Look! Angelina is fighting this divorce narrative on behalf of ALL moms! She’s so great!”

Very weird.

It's the same thing that happened with the Jon & Kate + 8 kids. Maybe they always do that with large family groups to ensure each set of kids gets adequate individual time with the non-primary parent.

Yes, it's a transition focused on relationship building. He gets them for more than a week at a time on his own later this summer.

People cope with living with crazy partners in various ways. Checking out and drinking too much are pretty common.

There's no way I could live with Jolie without some form of self-medication.
