| I actually thought Sanders looked gorgeous and handled herself with more grace than I've even seen from her. And I really dislike her. |
| Every single thing she said was true. If they can’t handle the fire, stop being such terrible people. The abortion thing was the only thing I found offensive. I am pro choice, but it is not a laughing matter ever. |
Swooooosh. Thanks for bringing us all down. |
That’s ok. We hate you, gop trash. |
| It wasn't hateful, it wasnt event a real roast. A couple of jokes at Sanders expense. And s little bit of satire, and a whole lot of unfunny crap. Wasn't a great monologue but tough to see the problem unless you like to play professional victim. |

1. This was comedy at a political event celebrating the 1st amendment.
2. It's always been a roast of the president, his staff, and the media. 3. The difference is that our current president is an unfit bully and liar, his staff and cronies are complicit, and the mainstream media hasn't done a sufficient job calling out the lies, unethical behavior, etc. Erego, we rely upon comedians and late night hosts to shoulder the burden. 4. Yes, the WHC dinner certainly had a different tone...but the overall tone has been set by President Twitterrant. 5. I know it's shocking to hear liberals being so vulgar, right? Because we're supposed to take the high road while the conservatives are allowed to say and do whatever they want, right? Um, that's how we ended up with Trump in the White House: the Dems were far too polite and assumed society would realize how ridiculous a Trump presidency would be. We were wrong, but now we know that we have to play the same game as the republicans instead of staying above the fray. Game on. The revolution is coming, and the comedians will lead the way! |
You clearly didn't watch Wolf's speech. One of her jokes was about the media's obsession with Trump! |
| Lots of snowflakes here, lol. |
|
I thought it was hilarious. Agree with pp that she was playing to the people at home, not the people in the room.
Ever year, the WHCA invites a comedian to celebrate the first amendment, and then the access journalists clutch their pearls at the slightest whiff of actual truths. Its such a strange ritual. |
Can you explain exactly what Sarah Sanders and Kellyanne Conway have done? |
Which part "crossed the line"? |
| Please, I don't understand where these pearl clutchers are coming from. Sanders has done nothing but belittle Americans and the press, lie every. single. effing. day. and is part of a conspiracy to demolish our democracy. There was no reference to her appearance. Women are allowed to be harsh to anyone, male or female, they choose when that person is absolute garbage. F sanders and F all you snowflakes. |
Plus, her jokes were hilarious. |
|
I just watched it and I didn't see her mocking the appearance of Kellyanne or Sarah.

I thought it was really funny. Honestly there are people who did not think EVEN ONE JOKE was funny?
If you don't think that speech was funny, what sort of things do you find funny? I'm genuinely curious. |
