I think they will give you a one time trial pass for situations like that. |
When i was first starting and was low income, i didn’t buy wine or fancy coffee or argula or nice fish. Rice and beans were what I could afford. I don’t think it’s unreasonable. |
Having lost the argument about the appropriateness of taking guests to Costco, the DCUM-bottom feeder moves on to other subject areas, like dictating what "the poors" should buy. |
Ummm Costco is okay with h that s why do you all have a problem with it. With a Costco membership you are allOwed to bring a guest. When I had a membership and use to bring a friend they were allowed to pay with cash, check or s debit card. There was no need for subterfuge... you are allowed to bring a guest with you. Costco makes my bey off of the sales volume much like Walmart... geez people you are so uptight and strange! |
It is absolutely the same thing. The friend shops along with OP, using OPs card. Costco benefits by selling more merchandise, friend benefits by getting warehouse price and OP benefits by getting reward points on her card. You are truly brainless. |
THIS Costco openly allows this - it’s not a big deal. Guess either pays with cash or reimburses you |
Sock puppet or both need to learn English. |
What is the Costco Policy? Start from there. Follow the rules. |
Costco permits guest shoppers when accompanied by members. They are paying for merchandise, not getting it for free. Not sure why some want to adamantly impose their own rules on everyone. |
OP here! Guest bought a bag of rice, some cooking oil and some cereal. We on the other hand spent $200 on processed food...... |
The membership is $60! Stop being the Costco cop. |
I’ve never gotten a rebate at the end of the year. Details, please! |
No |
You may need the executive membership for this? I have gotten checks in the mail in December for 2% of purchases. Which is alarming to show how much I've purchased.. |
I've often thought about trying to get a neighbor to buy/split costco items. I don't want to eat broccoli 6 nights in a row, I don't want 6 boxes of crackers, I'd rather not have a 6 pack of deodorant. They have good pricing, but you have to pay a lot upfront and then store the stuff.
I'm surprised about all of the Costco cops on here- Costco allows this. Have your friend ring through first, pay, and then do your own. Not a big deal. |
