My spouse and I voted for Virginia democrats for governor for decades. McAuliffe is as dirty as they come. Why the heck should we vote for Northam who has already shown he is owned by fellow democrats? We need new thinking on state immigration, public school status and results (get rid of current Virginia Department of Education who do nothing locality), reconsider DC METRO board and our incredible NoVA payments, reconsider Chesapeake Bay Water over regulation and our taxes to conform with same, reconsider Dominion Electric's monopoly on us, and frankly, Northern Virginia's overtaxing giving the rest of Virginia an undeserved tax break.

Do you remember the choice you had four years ago? It was McAuliffe or Cuccinelli. You don't sound like someone who has voted Dem in the past.

And, do you really believe that the governor can control incoming immigrants? Immigrants can move wherever they want, and that is controlled by the federal government. We don't have an internal visa system, and you would be a jackass for thinking that we should. You know who does have an internal visa system? Russia. And do you know what the result is? A ton of Russian citizens who illegally live in Moscow, because they have moved from other parts of the country but can't get papers to live where's they want.

I believe the above PP was twlking about ILLEGAL ALIENS - not legal immigrants. I understand why the left doesn't want to use say the word "illegal," but please learn the difference. I for one have no problem with legal immigrants - my grandparents came here legally - but illegal immigrants average a 10th grade education and are a negative for our country.

Hypocrisy. I met many Republicans who have illegal immigrants working at their homes.

This is a perfect example of the modern Republican party-- they run a candidate who has no beliefs but is willing to provide whatever deregulation the financial sector wants, and they get elected by appealing to grievances of lower income white voters even though they have no intention or ability of actually addressing any of the underlying issues.

The issue is illegal immigration and its catastrophic effects on schools and hospitals in the heart of democrat areas. It is destroying the democrat party. The 2018 elections are going to demoralize democrats. The shutoff at the border and deportations (including self deportations) are secretly loved by many democrats. The President will attach the fear of deportation with illegal voting before the election and we all know illegal voting is encouraged and ignored in many areas. It's going to be very unfortunate for democrats if they continue to encourage illegal immigration.

My son graduates from college in May, without a STEM degree. He already has accepted a job offer with an amazing company and will start at more than I make after teaching for 15 years.

His friends with excellent grades in math, science, and engineering degrees have not gotten any offers. H1-B is a huge problem.

STEM is a lie that American kids see through and they're certainly not going to double-down on a bad idea by going to grad school.

Vote Republican until Democrats put candidates forward that will stop the insane government interference in our free market economy.

No H1B, NO F1/OPT, No H4, No L1, No J-1. and no illegal immigration. Yes to E-Verify and no to Chain Migration.

All democrats are against E-Verify, they are actively pushing for more votes from the illegals which are mostly Hispanics and some Indians that overstayed their F1 visa.
