NP. Gillespie doesn't want to think outside of the box to resolve the north/south divide here. He's made it very clear he has no interest in serving northern Virginia. For now we're nothing more than a cash cow for the rest of the state, and what they'd really like to see is enough northern Virginia residents move to Maryland or DC that the Republicans can regain their stronghold.

And how, exactly, would Northam prevent NoVA from being a "cash cow for the rest of the state"? What's his plan for keeping NoVA $$ in NoVA?

A ton of Russian citizens who illegally live in Moscow, because they have moved from other parts of the country but can't get papers to live where's they want.

I believe the above PP was twlking about ILLEGAL ALIENS - not legal immigrants. I understand why the left doesn't want to use say the word "illegal," but please learn the difference. I for one have no problem with legal immigrants - my grandparents came here legally - but illegal immigrants average a 10th grade education and are a negative for our country.

I actually think Northam is going to win because there appear to be so many ultra-liberals in NoVA. I certainly hope he does not, though.

The idea that NOVA is filled with ultra-liberals is a myth. The ultra-liberals live in doormen-monitored DC condos and MoCo gated communities. NOVA-ites like to pretend they're ultra-liberal, but if they were, they wouldn't live in NOVA.
