I work in a law firm. And everyone talks about the male partners (it's always partners) who stand too close, who physically intimidate, who stare at women's chests rather than their faces. One partner is lovely though - he will sometimes want to look over documents together with an associate and he'll say "Do you mind if I come around and sit next to you so we can look at this?" And the time I covered for his secretary he asked me "May I come around to show you what I want done on this document?" before he stood next to where I was sitting. He's so respectful of space. |

Something about a charity that raised money for AIDS had part of the money transferred to a theater at Harvard that Weinstein owed money to. Some of the board members said Kenneth Cole approved this without going through the rest of the board and it jeopardized the integrity of the charity. The board members were fighting about it. Hollywood elites came forward to back Weinstein. Why are those Hollywood elites not coming forward and standing up for women. |

| Weinstein would get money from ART if he could get charities to donate to them. Sounds shady. Something like here are tickets to a Hollywood premiere Weinstein donated to auction for AIDS. But part of the money raised would actually go to ART. And Weinstein owed them money and he was to be paid if he brought them in revenue. Somehow Weinstein and the charity make money. That sounds sketchy. A bunch of board members quit because they refused to sign non-disclosure. |

This man is horrible and deserves to go down.
However, it's unfair to criticize Democratic groups or politicians who've taken his political contributions. As someone in this business, I can tell you they probably have interacted with the man for all of 3 hours in their entire lives. Do you think he acts this way in front of them? When you are trying to raise money to compete with the millions that the Koch brothers spend on the other side, and someone writes your party a million dollar check, are you going to send it back because maybe someone on your staff has heard rumors of sexual harassment? If that were the bar, I don't think many powerful men -- about 90% of both parties' political donors -- would pass it and thereby be "approved" to donate. I think everyone should denounce what he's done. And I hope superstars like Meryl Streep do so. As should the politicians he has supported in the past. But this idea that 10 years ago or 3 years ago they should have not accepted a contribution as if they knew what he was doing isn't realistic. |

| How is it legal to take money from one charity and then funnel it to another nonprofit. Finding Netherland was a starting point for Weinstein's grand plan to make it huge on Broadway. It's like taking money from a charity and giving it to your soon to be profitable start up. I am not a lawyer but this seems illegal. |
