If that were the bar, I don't think many powerful men -- about 90% of both parties' political donors -- would pass it and thereby be "approved" to donate.

I think everyone should denounce what he's done. And I hope superstars like Meryl Streep do so. As should the politicians he has supported in the past. But this idea that 10 years ago or 3 years ago they should have not accepted a contribution as if they knew what he was doing isn't realistic.[/quote]
