Is blonde hair more attractive?

Minus the first sentence, I kinda understand what the previous poster was getting at. If you consider it from an artistic standpoint, sharper contrast, or a darker outline (think of most drawings in books..outlined in black) does frame an image more where a non-outlined drawing can fade away more in terms of details. I think blondes get more casual looks from strangers, but don't necessarily "look" better. It really depends on a person's individual coloring.

It absolutely looks better on my fair skin. I looked washed out with an all over brown color. This whole thread is petty. Women are awful to each other.

The right color really does make a difference. Just as the wrong color can wash people out. Anyone remember the "Color Me Beautiful" clothing and make- up books from the 80's? It is really quite amazing the impact of color (hair, clothes, make-up) on your appearance.

I went from red to blonde recently and it was the worst. I've never looked so sickly and plain. I assumed with my fair skin and blue eyes it would work out well. I think it's definitely unfair to say blonde is easier and ugly people become pretty as blondes. Everyone has a color that suits them best. Sometimes it's their natural color, and sometimes a stylist is needed to find it.

In general it's more attractive. The one rare exception is the very dark haired brunette with white skin that also easily tans blue eyes but thats so rare.

I was blonde as a child. My daughter's hair is the same pretty sunny color I used to have before mine got mousy brown. When it started going gray I started coloring it back to the natural blonde. I always looked really washed out with light brown hair.
