I just found this thread. Jesus, these people. What kind of adult spends time on a forum bashing others and making outlandish claims???
I seriously wish these boards were not anonymous. |
Agreed. I don't have kids at Cooper but have heard nothing but amazing things. Who are these posters? |
They are just trolls. Ignore and move on |
+100 These people have some major chips on their shoulders if they can't even acknowledge a great school. They just look foolish. |
I can say those numbers way underreport what actually happens. I had a student there in 2014/15, and there were numerous property offenses that year. And a couple of forced student withdrawals, one for attempting to set a bus on fire. |
Wow. I'm sorry your kid has such behavioral issues he was forced to "withdraw," but that certainly doesn't apply to the rest of the great kids who go there. Did you wind up having to homeschool him? |
I didn't read PP to suggest her student was involved, but only that she was personally aware of more incidents than the school reported that year. Did you forget to take your meds? Your reaction is so disproportionate to what PP shared. |
The reaction was to point out how ridiculous PP's anecdotes are. Incidents like the ones she suggested would have to be reported. She's making it all up and you've actually fallen for it. "She's personally aware of more incidents..."?? Please. I could say I'm personally aware of horrible things going on at her school. Would you believe that too? |
| Cooper is fabulous. My child is a bit on the introverted side. Best way to make friends there is to get involved with the school plays - cast or crew! The kids who get involved with the plays are fun-loving, accepting and include popular and quirky kids. It's a great bonding experience and a quick way for your child to make friends. Good luck to your family! |

This thread is getting out of hand and has probably served its purpose.
