| Have you noticed any blood in your stool? |
She's had these symptoms for a month now and is trying to self-diagnose. I don't hold her GP accountable as she's probably not even conveying the severity of the situation to them. I don't think she fully grasps the severity of her symptoms. Or she just doesn't care. Which is starting to seem a lot more likely. |
I think she is trolling us. |
+1. I've posted a question in Website Feedback to get to the bottom of it. http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/622129.page |
I hope she is a troll... |
| Urgent care. |
| I am going to go to the hospital. My dad is going to take me when he gets off of work. I can show you pictures from my phone where I have been taking my stomach measurements using a clothing tape. I can also share the photos of my legs, where I can now touch my thumb and middle finger around my ankle. Unfortunately, I have no way to show proof of my symptoms, because that cannot be seen. I will post if someone will tell me how to do this? As I said before, someone would have to be extremely sick mentality to make this up. |
| Finally! Everyone will see I am not a troll. I asked for the admin earlier! |
How about if you just go to the hospital now and don't worry about posting pictures of your symptoms. |
| I am not going without my dad. Especially given the possibilities of my outcome now. I was thinking worms to be honest. As embarrassing as I feel about that. |
| Used to be an ER nurse. We admit people for symptoms far less severe than yours. Despite your denial or whatever it is, your symptoms necessitate an emergency. Cancer in the abdominal area can spread very quickly and without prompt treatment it is very easy to go from "treatable " to "poor prognosis". You'll immediately have a CT scan of the abd and to rule out some things. I'm sorry that you haven't liked the advice here and I'm sorry that you don't like to deal with medical issues. But going to the ER is critical. I've seen patients with less severe symptoms than you and they've had colon cancer with mets to other organs |
Where is your husband? Why isn't he driving you to the hospital? |
I think we've determined OP and her husband are not the brightest people in the world. My DH would have basically forced me to go to the ED at this point. Perhaps she and her husband have some SN...I don't know. Op certainly sounds like she may not be NT. |
|
Thanks to the ER nurse. My dad is closer, and gets off work before my husband. My husband is not a part of the post. I used his measurements on here to help explain to everyone here what is going on with me. I have no idea what ED means.
I have to get my stuff up now. I am guilty of posting a serious question, nothing else. I am sorry that I don't run off to the doctor with every sneeze. Again, it's embarrassing, but I honestly thought worms. |
ED is what most hospitals call their ERs now. |
