What is the probable cause of my symptoms?

It takes a long time for amh testing to come back. Also, I never saw the doctor. The nurse called me in for a blood draw. My appointment with a GYN is still pending. I did say that in my every post. I didn't lie about anything. I said that someone would have to be really sick to make all this up. I was not kidding. I truly appreciate everyone's concern, and I understand people checking to see if I am a troll because they don't want to waste time helping someone that they don't believe. The first amh test was ran in November, and I receive that in December. The second test was ran in January, and I received it on January 27th. Those take a while to get the results. I did go to the ER when everyone here suggested. My Albumin level is high, my red blood cells indicated that I am a little anemic. I have three small gallstones. The doctor suggested that I may have Crohn's disease, and I have to see a gastroenterologist. I also have to keep my appointment with the GYN, because I do have a cyst on my left ovary. Which is not a big deal it's actually very common. I was given fluids and then I went to my dad's and now I'm home. I don't live in DC, so I can understand why some of you would think I would receive better care in an emergency room, because most of you probably do live in DC. However, that is not the case for me. I was treated thoroughly, though. I didn't know that we were not allowed to post on more than one topic. Yes, I asked about my hysterectomy, and I also asked about my amh levels. It all falls in line with my female issues. Honestly, I'm not even sure how this can be cleared up now. The important thing here is that I don't have cancer, but I appreciate everyone's concern on that issue.

OP, thanks for the update! So glad it's not cancer. I would still go to your scheduled appointment with you doctor in March for a second opinion. But that is really great news!! Please ignore the nasty people on the thread. I really don't know why they want to knock someone when they're down.

Thanks for updating, OP. I'm so glad to hear they didn't find anything immediately concerning. Please make sure your GI doctor does a colonoscopy.

Thank you. I am going to keep my appointments. As of right now it's okay to leave my gallbladder and, but I may have to have surgery to have that removed. Hopefully, everything will work out.

Thanks for the update, Op!

Should I combine all of my updates on this thread, or no? The only one that confuses me is where I have posted in the fertility section, because that was about freezing my eggs,( the best case scenario.) I just do not want to break any rules, and despite the confusion I still did receive vital support here.

You're not breaking any rules. There are a lot of really ugly people on dcum who seem to enjoy hurting others. My guess is they feel powerless in their own lives and use this as a way to bully others. There are also lots of really helpful posters. Focus on those who offer actual help and ignore the others.

Glad it's not cancer!

OK. Thank you for letting me know that. I completely understand there are many different types of personalities, and a long with this comes different opinions. I am still so thankful to have received the support here.

Time is of the essence. Go check it out ASAP.

See your GYN asap. Not to be alarmist but those are all symptoms of ovarian cancer.

Maybe not the diarrhea, but I agree!

If you are forcing yourself to eat the same amount that you did before and still losing weight, this is a huge red flag for cancer. With your other symptoms, I -- like many posters -- would be severely concerned about ovarian cancer. Expanding girth is a relatively unique symptom and expanding girth + weight loss, well... No doctor is going to say you're nuts for coming in. If I were you and I'd genuinely tried to make appointments with my GP and couldn't? I'd go to the ED. Say the symptoms have gotten worse to the point where they're becoming unmanageable and that's the emergency. Or ovarian cancer actually has a pretty easy blood test screen, so you could always go to an Urgent Care and ask them to do a CA-125 test on you.

Ovarian cancer cannot always be detected in the blood. I had a type that is rare (not epithelial) and doesn't show up on CA-125, but in another test. OP, you need a CT scan or MRI. Go!

The ER did an MRI on my abdomen; that's how they found my gallstones. After that they did an ultrasound on my abdomen. I do have a cyst on my left ovary, but the doctor said that it was fluid filled. I am supposed to keep my appointment with the GYN. I called them yesterday, and they said that they will pull the records from the ER visit. I have not heard anything from them yet. I will not be able to get an appointment with the gastroenterologist until next week, February 28th. I have a few different things going on here, so I am going to continue the course. It's more frustrating than anything. Waiting. That's why I am thankful for everyone's encouragement, and personal experience expertise.

Sorry you're going through this op, and that DCUM freaked out on you. I hope it turns out to be an issue that is easily resolved.

Am glad you went to the ER--you now have an idea of the scope of things you are dealing with. It is also getting you to the GI doctor in relatively quick order. That's a real positive.

Hope you feel better soon.

It's OK. I can kind of understand why it happened. I am still not completely sure why, but it is the past now. I am just trying to get through this process as well I can. Plus, I am still receiving positive opinions, and advice.

We all come across adversity at some point throughout all of our lives. We just keep putting one foot in front of the other. A wise man once told me, "a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step."
