Why do some rich people have terrible crooked teeth?

haha - because his mom asked him when he was 13 if he wanted braces and he said no

His parents obviously had money for tennis, I am sure they could have scraped for braces for their kids. He could even do Invisalign now, and take them off during matches, but he doesn't. It might take a little longer to fix this way, but still possible. So, why does a rich, famous athlete has such bad teeth?

He has bad teeth and is still rich and famous. You post on DCUM about rich and famous people with bad teeth. Who's winning?

What? Are you drunk?

OK, I'll bite.
How did it change your life?

Is this really so hard to understand?

Anonymous wrote:Yeah I don't get this either OP. I work with a very beautiful woman who has terrible teeth. She makes a good salary and we have dental insurance. I don't get it either. I'd love to say something to her but too afraid.

Dental insurance has nothing to do with braces and never covers it, and certainly not for adults.

Teeth are straight, just very stained.

i genetically got big front teeth - which i'd probably have to get replaced to ever look 'normal -- and even with braces & retainer, one tooth never budged correctly & my overbite constantly fights back against science.

Jewel has crooked teeth and I personally think they add a certain uniqueness to her beauty.

She looks less cookie cutter and more unique because of her teeth.

Yikes. What grownup wants to wear a retainer for decades?

My bottom retainer is super glued to my teeth and has been there for 25+ years. I doubt I will ever get rid of it. Dentists have asked me if I want to remove it but I always say no. Why would I want to remove a retainer that is still keeping my teeth in place and doesn't bother me in the slightest?

You have had a foreign object glued in your mouth for a quarter century? Gross!!

Pure laziness.

Anonymous wrote:My teeth were crooked enough for braces in the 80s but my parents decided against them since they didn't really look too bad. In my 30s they're a ducking disaster. Teeth move as you age.

This was basically me too. I got braces for 1 year at age 29-30. Teeth and bite are awesome now.

It would be hard to be in the public eye and gave the braces for that year. And Invisalign just doesn't fix it quite like metal.

I understand very well indeed. Yet since you are posting here too, it had more to do with, what's your point?

Trust me - there is nothing gross about it.

CNN host Carol Costello has terribly crooked lower teeth. She probably makes $1 million a year.
