Finding a sitter for morning monitoring appointments

OP: Are you at SG? If yes, your solution is to go to DF or CFA instead, where the no children policy does not exist. You clearly are not interested in any of the many great solutions mentioned in this thread.

The only thing I ever read at SG regarding children was not to bring them on procedure days. I took my son in and we were asked to wait in the area outside the waiting room.

No, the signs in the offices say no children at the practice (not just procedures). You were asked to wait outside because you were in violation of their policy.

That's what people have been advocating. OP will not know a sitter from care.com any more than she will know this woman who offered. Either way, she will need to meet them, check out their house, etc.

My suggestion is to find a daycare that will let you do drop in services. Or just take the kid with you. It's not that big of a deal. If you are having a tough time, you're having a tough time. The kid is not going to be the thing to push you over the edge. The only thing that will help is having success. Everything else is just noise.
