Hate the half tuck

So 80s, I know it's in style, but I just can't.

French tuck. I do it often. I am still interested in fashion, trends, and looking good.

That’s funny because I feel just the opposite. I think it works best for high rise pants/skirts.

Because it does look better with the high wais, the lower waist half tuck obviously looks good on someone with super flat tummy and narrow waist but then again, what doesn't!

Are you guys referring to a french tuck?

Looks tacky when it’s done on purpose. Just looks like someone coming out of the the bathroom after accidentally zipping up their pants with part of their shirt hanging out.

Every woman on Tv does the half tuck and they look ridiculous.

Did you really resurrect a 7yo thread to say this??

It's a French Tuck, not a half tuck. People have been doing it for forever, not just since you heard about it a few years ago.

The half-tuck is what you get at the end of the day when you've been run off your feet.

It's not something that people intentionally calculate as they look at themselves in the mirror in the morning.

... Right?!!!

That's what happens to me at any rate

I'm French and have never heard of this. Is it in the same category as French toast and French fries? Nothing to do with France?

I've never seen it done IRL
