Looks so sloppy in real life! (Yes, I'm old.) |
It shows the waist line a bit instead of leaving shirts hanging out, obscuring the waist and making you look larger.
Do you prefer a full tuck? |
I was just thinking about this! Lol. I think it falls into the 'trying too hard' category. |
I have only seen it used in catalog pictures so you can see what a shirt looks like tucked in or not. I didn't think it was something that was supposed to be replicated in real life. |
I never tuck, yuck. |
I wouldn't do it myself, but I have fond memories of doing this back in middle school. Sigh... |
I like the half tuck!
|
I hate it too! |
I do it. I like it. I think the fully tuck looks preppy / geeking. Since I have a nice waist, the longer tunics/shirts that are everywhere are flattering on me if half tucked.
Trying to hard? Maybe but I like the look. |
Um, I thought only models did this to show what shirts look like tucked & untucked. Lemmings...
|
Some people call it a shame tuck. I love that phrase. |
Lol I think no one can possibly look good in it. The models look so apathetic and stupid. I just assumed it was an advertising gimmick to show the pants with the shirt. I don't think I could take someone wearing that in public seriously. |
The half-tuck is what you get at the end of the day when you've been run off your feet. It's not something that people intentionally calculate as they look at themselves in the mirror in the morning. ... Right?!!! |
I always half tuck. Full tuck looks old lady to me (tho I am 39, haha, but I do wear decent styles and am slim, so it's easier). Untucked makes me look boxy and wide, unfortunately. And very fitted shirts show too many bumps. |
I have tuck and full tuck depending on the outfit.. |
