Boy, sounds like a happy marriage.

No, I don't have,an eating disorder. I just can't gain weight no matter how hard I try (& lose weight at the drop of a hat). Do I care? Yes, I really wish I weren't so skinny (I would love to gain about 20 lbs). I've been this, say my whole life, though, so I've come to terms with it. I'm still holding out some hope, though, that I will beaming the majority of people who gain weight as they approach middle age! Does my DH care? I'm sure he would like it if I gained some weight but he married me when I was at this weight so it obviously doesn't bother him too much. The only time he's ever said anything negative about my body was when we had only known each other for a relatively short time & were still just friends & it was said out of concern for my health (he was worried I might have an eating disorder but, after spending a good deal of time with me, realized I was telling the truth/wasn't in denial when I said I was just naturally scrawny). |

I do care about my weight, and so does my husband but to a much lesser degree. |
| 20.4 I'm not overweight but definitely out of shape and weak. |
This makes no sense. That's not how glutes are shaped. If you're getting saggy and flat and flabby when you lose weight, you aren't muscular. |
I did not say flabby, I said flat. My stomach is flat does that make it flabby....NO. If my butt is flat,... aka without fat it is not as sexy as one that is fat. If you don't understand my only questions is... .Are you white? |

23.5, apparently. I've never calculated it before this thread.
I don't think it matters to me because I seem to have some sort of body dysmorphia that makes me think I'm hugely overweight no matter what I weigh, from 100 to 140 pounds (I'm not tall ... at all). I've never actually done anything about my weight throughout the years on purpose. If I'm too stressed, I just am not hungry and if I'm very sad, I emotionally eat. I've been this particular size for my late twenties and late thirties, was way smaller early twenties and way bigger early thirties. Husband says he doesn't care, but he is much more physical with me now then when I was bigger. |
Uh, no. Get a personal trainer and start working out seriously.

Right. I believe there are only a couple of us fatsos here LOL
42 or something like that. DH adores me. But I have a young child, and my longevity is a concern. |
| 26.5 - would like to lose 5-10 lbs. as I've been creeping up in my 40's. |

22.1 as of this morning. I have very little muscle though, because my only exercise is cardio (jogging/bike), so I'm probably bigger than most other 22s (size 8). I know I should start doing strength training but it's just so much easier to put on my headphones and run for 30 minutes than to figure out a bunch of circuits and whatnot. Anyone have a beginner strength training workout they like?
DH would probably care if I gained a lot of weight, like 30+ pounds, but he is fine with a little extra chub, and I think actually prefers it. I put on 15 pounds a couple of years ago after a period of eating not-great and skipping workouts due to work stress, and he just kept commenting on how great my boobs looked. (He is Latino fwiw). |

My husband thinks I'm fine. Of course, his BMI is over 30, so it's all relative. |
What's your BMI? |
