DCUM DWs -- what is your BMI?

Anonymous
I'm a 30...but DH has gained a TON of weight in the past 2 years. He's 6'3 so I think he thinks people don't notice. They do. He really needs to lose like 50 lbs, but it's impossible to talk to him about it. He's totally in denial.

My BMI is 22.6
Hers is 28.4
Yes, I do care

How old are you... The rod does not work so well as you get older?

I am 50. So far, zero rod issues.
Again, thanks for your interest and concern about this part of me.

And proud that with the 50 pounds I lost in the last 2 years it is under 40

it was not easy to lose the 50 pounds and what amazes me is that almost no one (work or friends) commented on it

1 family member who lost weight like me and was my inspiration has been very supportive

but 1 friend I confided the total pounds lost to didn't seem to believe me

I think most people are mature enough to realize it's none of their business. Unless I'm talking to close friends or family, I'd rather people STFU.

Husband is 26 and I am 21. He decided to get down to 25 which is only 10 lbs and is realizing how hard it is to cut that. He's already very muscular though.

Of course, but why post when the concern trolls will come out; or you'll be mocked and made fun of.

I'm 25bmi as well. No one is criticizing people who share higher numbers. DC has some of the most active/physically fit people in the country. In my neighborhood EVERYONE jogs it seems. It's crowded at 7am on the jogging paths. Behavior like that leads to thinner people.

I posted just to see if they come out. They didn't. Wouldn't care if they would.

It's all good, people. DCUM seems much healthier than the rest of the nation, but it's the internets after all

No offense, but I have a friend like you who moves this kind of weight up and down on a regular basis. I only really notice when it is the very far end of weight loss for her, which means when her BMI is below 37 or so.

BMI is outdated and doesn't make sense for every body type. My sister is 5'2 and weighs nearly 140. Works out several times a week there is no fat on her body.

In other words, her BMI is 25. Thanks for playing.

And considered overweight. You're welcome.

So what is your BMI?

Start posting yours first? Plus can you still get a really hard rod?

My BMI is 24.

Yes, no issues with rod...

everyone isn't built the same. She played soccer all through h.s. and college, runs every morning, and goes to the gym 5 days a week. She is curvy, and in no way overweight. I'm going to ask if I can post a headless picture.
