DCUM DWs -- what is your BMI?

Anonymous
22.8 - DH doesn't care.

23.8 I've got some cushion. Prefer myself about 5 pounds lighter... Like everyone!

If I get too slim, I lose the curves DH loves. Breasts and bum first to go, last is the damn belly. I like to eat, so win win!

28. I'm 35 with four kids. If by "care" you mean if he had his preference, he would prefer me to be slimmer, the yes. He cares. If by "care" you are asking if he feels that this is an important issue in his life, something he is willing to change his lifestyle over, or even an interesting topic of conversation, then, no, he doesn't care.

32. DH doesn't care as long as it doesn't affect our hiking trips. I'm depressed and it's hard to lose.

I agree bodies change and I expect mine will. However healthy eating has become increasingly important to me as I age. I need to eat healthy to keep my energy up. I also can't really drink anymore which helps. I just can't metabolize alcohol for shit anymore so I don't bother drinking and I see a lot of woman slurping down the wine - those calories add up. I used to be a gym freak before kids but now I work out moderately at home. I am pretty consistent though and don't skip many workouts but they are shorter and not as intense as when I was younger. Point is to just stay active.

Congrats to the woman who lost a ton of weight up thread. Inspiring.

I'd rather have an overweight BMI than giving up drinking entirely.

To be clear, I didn't give up drinking because of weight. At my weight, I could stand to gain a few pounds. Drinking effects me a lot more than when I was younger. I've seen to have lost my tolerance for it. It makes me feel very dehydrated, tired, and crappy the next day.

I like having energy and feeling good. When I was in my 20s I could do the hangover thing - lay around, snack, watch movies. I don't have time for that as a working mom of two kids. I love getting up early and having time for myself and feeling good on the weekends, so I just don't do drink.

I get it though - some people really love it and can handle it more. I enjoy a glass of wine now and then, but that is it for me. I really don't miss it anymore.

My BMI is currently around 26 and DH thinks I look great. I just focus on how I feel rather than what the scale says as I struggled with body image a lot when I was younger.

My BMI is 20, but after 2 kids my stomach doesnt look so great. Husband's only comment on my body after birthing 2 kids and losing all the weight twice was, "you can get that fixed with surgery." He also wishes I had larger breasts. I suppose there's surgery for that too.

So what is your BMI?

Start posting yours first? Plus can you still get a really hard rod?
Anonymous
My rod gets really hard (thank you for asking).
My BMI is 22.6
Hers is 28.4
Yes, I do care

How old are you... The rod does not work so well as you get older?
Anonymous
29.2 which means I'm overweight; oh well.

Yawn...so boring. Can't you find more interesting things to care about, OP? Even the women who are obsessed with their kids are more interesting than this.

That's cute! You should show her you posted this.

He is going to. He will say "I posted on this thread. I am the poster who isn't an a*shole! Try to find my post!"

It will be a rousing Friday night.

No idea. Wear size 2. Don't give a rat's ass if DH cares. He's dead.
