| She looks great! |

As previously noted, her BMI is 25. Yes, technically overweight by the BMI definition, but we are talking about three pounds for someone who is clearly fit. That's hardly the subject of this thread.

| Bmi is out dated and not for every body type or ethnicity. |

| I'm a 24.9 (hooray!), down from a 29.6 in January. I'm starting to see some major changes (size 12 to loose size 8s) and have recently incorporated heavy weights into my cardio rotations. Dropped anything processed out of my diet, along with diet soda about 2 weeks ago ... SO ready to have the body I've always wanted and I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel on this one... |
| I'm 5'2" and 122 and look fatter than the PP's sister. Or, same size, but flabbier. |
19.5 (43 w/4 kids) I care because being healthy for my children and as I get older is important to me. I am 5'6 and am small boned. So even though my BMI is on the lower side I still have curves and don't look "skinny". My DH is attracted to me but I can't saw if he "cares" or not because I've always hovered right around the same wait since we started dating. He is at 29.2 (50) I don't care. He has a large frame and is 6'4/240 and he doesn't look "overweight" at all. He is also healthy according to his physician. He doesn't care either. So I think your BMI number needs to also factor in your frame and lifestyle. |

I think your BMI number has to factor in your BMI when you met your partner. If you've gone up more than a few BMI over the course of your relationship, that is just not cool.
Congrats to the PP above on the weight loss. |
| My lovely DW used to be an excellent 22. Add ten years of wine, cheese, desserts, and late night snacks and she is now pushing 30. Yes, it matters to me and my efforts to eliminate temptations have been rebuffed. I am a 24 and would love for her to come back to her former trim figure. It is as simple as skipping desert every other night... |

| PP, your sister looks amazing. I'm 5'4 and 127 pounds, but I've been working on lifting weights more consistently. I wouldn't be upset if my weight went up, but I had more noticeable muscle. |
