Cannot wait for AAP decision to be out

You find out either way if you hold is admitted or not. I think what happens is the central office prepares the letters and they are sent to the kids schools. Then information on orientation or how to appeal is included Witt the letter. Schools then mail the letters home.

+1 on local schools hearing first. Sometimes the AART will email or call parents in advance of letters hitting parents' mailboxes. (I think this part varies by school.)

It appears that some ES have posted the AAP orientation on their websites, and they start on April 20. (I saw this on Vienna ES's website.) So I imagine folks will know the decisions by then!

Yes - Greenbriar West has its AAP orientation on April 18. So we should be getting letters latest by next week....

It doesn't sound like the orientation is being held at Vienna ES, but that the information about the orientation was noted on VES' website.

Found out yesterday my child is in. School told me verbally. Letters go out next week
