Outdated stereotypes. Academics are excellent at NCS and the girls have tons of support from the teachers. My DD had much more stress at her old school. She is thriving at NCS and loves it (school life, traditions, sports, etc). Teenagers tend to be a stressed out bunch and you will find them no matter where you decide to go. I'm just saying that it's not over the top at NCS. Both schools are excellent. Good luck to the PP.

I know how you feel. We were waitlisted for 4th. They suggested we reapply to 6th or 7th, so I trusted we were a real candidate. It was the previous AD, Mr. Hart Roper. He said we were a good fit, but just couldn't quite pull it off. Soooooooo competitive, few spots.... Maybe another year for you.
