Coldplay killed it

Bruno Mars was the best part of it but he JUST headlined 2 years ago so why was he back? Is the list of people willing to do the show that short?

Coldplay was LOL. Why?? I loved the part where Chris Martin went and huddled with the band mates and sang at the drummer. There's a whole thing called THE AUDIENCE behind you, fool! Sing to THEM!

Bey. Meh. Formation is not that great without the video accompanying. Without that it's just Single Ladies 2.0.

I thought Martin wasn't powerful enough. His voice was completely drowned out. They really needed his mike turned up much louder.

Why did it look like CG or a cartoon or something? Was it a filter on the lens? i couldn't figure it out the whole time I watched. Someone mentioned it looked like a green screen.

I'm going to have to go with the King of Pop...

I just rewatched his amazing show from the 90s. Now there was a performer---(even if I thought he was creepy).

And what's wrong with black power? Are you scared?

It's odd to pick Black Panther attire when they're all talking about a unifying theme at the end.

You don't know much about the Black Panthers.

At its inception on October 15,[4] 1966, the Black Panther Party's core practice was its armed citizens' patrols to monitor the behavior of police officers and challenge police brutality in Oakland, California. In 1969, community social programs became a core activity of party members.[5] The Black Panther Party instituted a variety of community social programs, most extensively the Free Breakfast for Children Programs, and community health clinics.[6][7][8]

I didn't say their original reasons for formation were not valid- fighting police brutality and government oppression. But, I also would not say they were the most peaceful, unifying crew. MLK followers would have fit into that category, not Black Panthers. And particularly, not the New Black Panthers today.

I believe it was also NYTimes that famously referred to Coldplay as the most insufferable band of the decade. I can't think of a more apt description.

+1000.

Bruno Mars and Beyonce saved it.

Because everyone has different musical taste. I loved Coldplay. Music with substance. Beyonce just looked like a stripper.

A stripper who almost fell on her bum.

People do have different musical tastes, but Chris Martin's vocals were appallingly bad. Singers who can't actually sing in real life are so disappointing.

So sick of Beyonce. And she needs to change her outfit.

Yeah - I generally like Coldplay but thought the performance was terrible.

That totally went over my head. I just saw some regular dance routine going on.

I thought the whole show - coldplay, beyonce and bruno - was weird for a super bowl half time.

Coldplay was this year's Katy Perry. They should have just bought back Missy from last year in replace of Coldplay and had Missy, Beyonce and Bruno.
