Beyonce put black panther power in your face and not a peep could be heard. Bruno Mars refreshed Mc Hammer and Coldplay is a beautiful band. Loved (xxxo) the halftime show. Better in the dark.
And what's wrong with black power? Are you scared?
It's odd to pick Black Panther attire when they're all talking about a unifying theme at the end.
You don't know much about the Black Panthers. At its inception on October 15,[4] 1966, the Black Panther Party's core practice was its armed citizens' patrols to monitor the behavior of police officers and challenge police brutality in Oakland, California. In 1969, community social programs became a core activity of party members.[5] The Black Panther Party instituted a variety of community social programs, most extensively the Free Breakfast for Children Programs, and community health clinics.[6][7][8]
I didn't say their original reasons for formation were not valid- fighting police brutality and government oppression. But, I also would not say they were the most peaceful, unifying crew. MLK followers would have fit into that category, not Black Panthers. And particularly, not the New Black Panthers today.
