Coldplay killed it

Beyoncé in a leotard and spanx doing the same dance routine? Yawn. How much longer until she's like Madonna and we feel sorry for her? Ten years? When will she have a Vegas residency?

I think of that everytime I see or hear Coldplay. (And I actually am gay. But I can't fucking stand them so...)

Right?! I feel like it's an elephant in the room that no one will talk about. How is everyone not saying this right now?

It's a quote from 40 year old Virgin.

Coldplay killed it if by "it" you mean the energy of the crowd. Thankfully Bruno breathed life back into it. Beyonce did the same performance she always does. What a letdown for SB50.

NYT just thoroughly trashed Coldplay in its review of the halftime show.

I believe it was also NYTimes that famously referred to Coldplay as the most insufferable band of the decade. I can't think of a more apt description.

And what's wrong with black power? Are you scared?

It's odd to pick Black Panther attire when they're all talking about a unifying theme at the end.

Ha ha ha! I love you!

She totally phoned it it and CP sucked. Bruno Mars at least brought a bit of energy into that sad, tired show.

I want my half hour back.

Wait, Bruno Mars plays the drums???

What a boring band. Vocals sucked.

I love Coldplay and I agree with this poster. Boring show by Coldplay, bad vocals (although it was hard to hear Bey also) and does Chris Martin know any dance moves besides hunching over and hopping around? I felt like he was exemplifying the worst stereotype of a white man dance!

Totally. This.

I wonder why Bruno Mars didn't do Uptown Funk? 'Cause it was a year old and got overplayed? Still such a great song though.

Sometimes when you don't know what you are talking about, it is OK to just be quiet. Bruno was paying homage to MC Hammer both with his music and his outfit.

You don't know much about the Black Panthers.

At its inception on October 15,[4] 1966, the Black Panther Party's core practice was its armed citizens' patrols to monitor the behavior of police officers and challenge police brutality in Oakland, California. In 1969, community social programs became a core activity of party members.[5] The Black Panther Party instituted a variety of community social programs, most extensively the Free Breakfast for Children Programs, and community health clinics.[6][7][8]

Okay I am an idiot (had just watched the Bruno Mars youtube, not live, and now see they totally performed the hell out of uptown funk). Sorry.
