Lady Gaga was amazing- one of the best performances of our National Anthem ever and she came off as incredibly sincere.

Beyonce isn't fat, but I think the zipper up the crotch was pretty crude looking and not necessary.

Isn't it obvious? Because this is a once a year sporting event that is watched by the entire family - including young kids. At the risk of sounding like a prude, I don't want to watch a sexually suggestive performance in that venue (and that's putting it mildly) and I sure as hell don't think it's appropriate for kids to see. There's a time and a place, and that was not the time or the place. Frankly, if you can't sing without hypersexualizing your performance, then you don't belong on the stage - any stage - least of all at the Superbowl.

I'm sorry, but did you not know she was going to perform? And did you not see her performance at that same venue only a few years ago? You knew exactly what to expect - since as others have pointed out, Queen Bey does seem to have a script - and you had plenty of time to get the kids out of the room. Plus, she was incredibly covered up this time compared to last time.

NP here. Not that familiar with her, but was glad to see a non-toothpick doing her moves. I was sitting with my teen DD and thinking how great it was to see some strong thighs. Nothing wrong with skinny thighs, but I think people need to apply some diversity values to different body types.
