Right? I think maybe Sia was on to something, not showing her face for so long so people would focus on her music rather than her face. |
+1 I adore her... Not least of all due the fact that she is part performance artist and not really apologetic about it. She really has vocal chops, if people could just get past her "look", but I think sometimes that's exactly her point. It's part satire, part honest exploration and Ive always thought that's really cool. She's probably hurt her career in some ways by not being mainstream enough, but she's not wiggled against that one iota. And no... I don't consider myself a little monster. I just really think the world needs more true artists and less produced ones. |
| I didn't recognize her at all and was wondering who this person was because the singing was plain. |
Well said. I love her, she is a true performer and is always challenging and reinventing herself. Not because she has too, just because she enjoys trying something new. |
Sia is a gimmic without an iota of gaga's talent. |
Were you watching a different channel? This was one of the best superbowl national anthems since Whitney Houston. It was gorgeous. |
Right! I agree she channeled Whitney. Loved her rendition!!!! |
| Beyonce is super fat! |
| I was walking out of the room bored with coldplay when bruno pulled me back in. The half-time show was saved. |
+1 I thought so, too! (although nobody can out-sing Whitney Houston) |
| Hey Beyoncé put some pants on. |
Said no one ever. |
|
Needed more Beyonce, less Chris Martin.
WTF was with the sanskrit on the Coldplay set? Some white British guys co-opting Indian culture? Not a good look. |
You're an idiot |
Absolutely. I audio was too low for the main mikes. |
